HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL IN EVERETT, WA

Aerospace Supply Chain Waste

The north corridor's industrial base is machining, surface finishing, composites, coatings and assembly, tiers of suppliers feeding the big line. The waste streams are consistent and the compliance expectations are high, because prime contractors audit their suppliers. Aerospace suppliers are among HWD's longest-running accounts, so the paperwork is built to hold up when a prime comes to look.

Surface Finishing and Plating

Concentrated acids and bases in drums and totes, chromic and nitric streams, plating rinse waters, anodizing and conversion-coating residuals, and filter press sludge for stabilization, profiled against both federal codes and Washington's state-only designations. Spent etchants and deoxidizers are profiled the same way.

Machining and Metalworking

Water-soluble and straight-oil coolants, cutting fluids, used oil halogen-tested so it ships for recycling, tramp oil, sump cleanouts, parts-washer solvent and metal fines. Coolant sumps can be pumped and hauled in bulk when volumes justify it, which usually beats drumming hundreds of gallons by hand.

Composites and Coatings

Uncured resins, monomers and reactives for incineration, primers, topcoats, thinners, MEK and acetone, booth maintenance waste and aerosols. Expired resin kits and other shelf-life items from the stockroom can ride along on the same pickup instead of waiting for a separate cleanout.

Facility Projects

We've removed excavation spoils and non-regulated solids from an active aerospace surface-finishing plant, roughly 150 tons across two campaigns, on Saturday overtime with weekend staging so nothing sat in the yard on a workday and the line never stopped. Plant shutdowns and retooling are a good time to clear legacy chemicals, old paint stock and unlabeled containers, and we stage crews around the outage schedule so the work is finished before the line restarts.

Supplier Audit Readiness

Generator status confirmation, dated and labeled containers in your accumulation area, e-Manifests with LDR notifications, signed copies back for your file, and disposal certification on request. If you've got an audit coming, a job walk beforehand is a simple way to find the problems first.

Recurring Service

Most Everett manufacturers are Medium or Large Quantity Generators with a predictable rhythm; we set up scheduled pickups that keep you inside your 90- or 180-day window and carry profiles forward so repeat streams don't get re-papered. If production ramps up or a line changes, we adjust the schedule instead of leaving extra drums to age out on the clock.

SNOHOMISH COUNTY
Hazardous Waste Disposal

Snohomish County's aerospace and advanced manufacturing base, along with boatyards, food processors and fabrication shops, produces solvents, coatings, oily water and other waste that needs careful handling. We serve facilities from Mukilteo to Smokey Point.

Boatyards and marinas along the Snohomish River and Port Gardner produce bilge water, antifouling paint waste, spent solvents and used oil. Food processors generate cleaning chemicals, refrigeration oils and off-spec product. Fabrication shops add blast media, coatings and cutting fluids. Each stream gets its own profile, and repeat streams are carried forward so the next pickup is a phone call, not a new project.

Recent work north of Seattle includes drum pickups for an aerospace surface-finishing plant, cleanouts for marine and fabrication shops, and jobsite service for general contractors. For larger Puget Sound projects we offer rail transport for bulk waste, along with vacuum tankers, dump trucks and roll-off boxes.
