KENT, WASHINGTON
HWD serves the Kent Valley: Kent, Auburn, Tukwila, SeaTac, Des Moines and Federal Way. This is the largest concentration of warehouse and manufacturing space in the state, and it generates a kind of waste most disposal companies aren't set up for.
We do not service household hazardous or non-hazardous waste. Businesses, institutions and government facilities only. Residents should use King County's Hazardous Waste Management Program.

HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL IN KENT, WA
Hazardous Waste Disposal for Kent Valley Warehouses and Manufacturers
The Kent Valley holds the largest concentration of warehouse and manufacturing space in Washington, and it produces a kind of waste most disposal companies aren't set up for. Distribution centers don't make hazardous waste, they accumulate it: damaged inbound product, returns that can't be resold, recalled lots, discontinued SKUs, leaking pails on a pallet nobody wants to touch, and the aerosols, batteries and cleaning chemicals that build up in a receiving dock.
Off-Spec and Unsaleable Product
Pallets of pails, cases of aerosols and drums of product past its date, characterized from the SDS and packed for the right outlet: fuel blending, incineration, stabilization or landfill. When the SDS and the label disagree we pull a sample, so the profile matches what is actually in the container and the receiving facility accepts the load as shipped.
Damaged and Leaking Containers
Overpack drums and salvage packs for containers that can't ship as-is. Spill cleanup with neutralization where appropriate, with absorbents and contaminated debris packed and removed along with the source. Nothing leaves your dock in a container that won't pass DOT.
Agricultural and Chemical Product
Pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers and treatment chemicals in liquid and solid form, profiled for incineration or stabilization with the handling those streams require. Ag and garden distributors along the valley often carry seasonal returns and discontinued formulations; we sort them by compatibility on site and ship each stream to the outlet it actually needs.
Aerosols, Batteries and Universal Waste
Cases of aerosols packed for incineration, lithium and lead-acid batteries, fluorescent lamps and e-waste handled under universal waste rules, so the routine items don't count against your hazardous waste totals.
Pickups Sized to the Job
Kent jobs range from a few pallets to a full warehouse cleanout. Small pickups are sized to the load; larger cleanouts get rolloffs, flex bins and a crew sized to finish in one mobilization. Every load leaves on a Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest with land disposal restriction notifications, and signed copies come back for your file. If you don't have an EPA ID number yet, we walk you through getting one before the first shipment.
KENT VALLEY
Hazardous Waste Disposal
Kent's manufacturers run the full range: metal fabrication and coatings, food processing and its sanitation chemicals, plastics and composites, printing, and contractors' yards. Typical streams: flammable liquids and solvents, paint-related material, concentrated acids and bases, used oil and coolant, non-hazardous process solids, and periodic cleanouts of accumulated inventory. Small jobs of a few pallets and full cleanouts with rolloffs and a crew sized to finish in a day are both normal here.
Warehouses are often surprised to learn that a one-time cleanout of damaged inventory makes them a hazardous waste generator for that month. It does. Washington's episodic generation provision exists for exactly this, and we scope it so a single cleanout doesn't saddle you with Large Quantity Generator obligations you'll never need again.
We cover the whole valley: Kent, Auburn, Tukwila, SeaTac, Des Moines, Federal Way and the industrial parks along West Valley Highway and 212th Street. Crews arrive with the right containers and labels, so a warehouse can stage its pallets on the dock and keep receiving while we pack.

Getting a Kent quote: send photos of the pallets or drums and a rough count through the form above, or call. If nobody knows what's in a container, say so; characterizing unknowns is a routine part of warehouse cleanouts.
We quote, then our crew arrives with the right containers, packs and labels on site, and leaves with the waste and a signed manifest copy for your file. Also serving Renton, Tacoma, Auburn and Federal Way, and statewide across Washington.
